After having completed his legal studies at the university of Zurich, Christian Jenny has worked with the district court of Uster/Zurich for several years where he inter alia served as Chairman of the tenancy dispute resolution board. After having passed the bar exam in 1997, Christian Jenny joined the law offices of Urs Scherrer. in 2002, the law office Scherrer Jenny & Partner was founded.
The focus of Christian Jenny lies especially in two areas of law:
On the one side, he has been working for over twenty years in the fields of asociation law as well as sports law. Christian Jenny is considered one of the leading experts in these areas. He offers advisory and forensic services primarily to federations, associations and members of associations (sports federations and associations, sports clubs, athletes and agents) as well as to companies active in the field of selling commercial rights.
Between 2008 and 2018, Christian Jenny was significantly involved in founding, building up and managing a company domiciled in Zurich and active in the global regulation of international transfers of football players. In addition, he was responsible for the human resources area wihtin the company for years.
On the other hand, Christian Jenny has been advising companies and individuals on building, construction and real estate law issues for over fifteen years and respresents them in legal disputes in court.
Moreover, in civil law, Christian Jenny is preferably active in the area of inheritance and property law. In the context of general contract law, he works mainly in the fields of sale of goods, tenancy and labour law.
